Well fall is here ! We have had to put some heat on since it is suppose to be in the upper 40's tonight. It has been so nice the last two weeks in the upper 70's . Been busy stitching Halloween and some Fall charts.

Storm

Boy did we have a storm last night ,lots of high winds. We were without power for 3 hours. My wonderful husband took off today so we could get the tree limbs cut up. Our poor little garden is a mess. No stitching last night , so have to get busy. The temperature suppose to be cooler today, no 100's this week. have a great day.

BOY HAS IT BEEN HOT ! WE LIVE OUT IN THE COUNTRY, AND WE SEE ALOT OF WILD LIFE. BUT SINCE IT HAS BEEN SO HOT FOR SO LONG WE ARE SEEING MORE COON'S COMING UP TO EAT THE BIRDS FOOD. I EXPECT TO SEE A BEAR ANY DAY, SINCE THERE SEEMS TO BE LITTLE FOOD FOR THEM. I HAVE BEEN STITCHING LIKE MAD AND STAYING OUT OF THE HEAT. I'M HOPING IT WILL COOL DOWN JUST A LITTLE NEXT WEEKEND SO MY HUSBAND AND I CAN ENJOY THE REENACTMENT OF THE BATTLE OF WILSON'S CREEK .

'HAPPY 4TH OF JULY'

Happy 4th of July ! Hope you all have a wonderful day. Here it is mid morning and the Fire Crackers are already going off. Our dog does not like thunder and lightning, and she really is having a time with the fire works. I wish I knew what to do for her, we have tried different meds. and nothing seems to work. If anyone one out there has any ideas let me know. Please be safe and enjoy this 4th.

Let's remember all who have served and those who continue to serve. My Great Great Grandfather served in the Civil War and My father served his country in World War II.

SPRING

Wow! What a pretty day this has been. I have been so busy stitching, I have not had the time to write. I have taken a couple of special cross stitch orders , and am trying to get them done. My husband is out tilling the garden. We are not going to plant as much as we did last summer. These are a few projects I have finished . Have a great evening.
